Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Develop a variety of external facing communication materials to ensure that they are aligned to company message house, brand identity, and business strategy to enhancing positive perception towards the company.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Research, write, rewrite and edit a variety of materials for document development such as speeches, collaterals, marketing or advetising copy, presentations, etc.
  • Edit text or copy for form, length, accuracy, consistency and consiseness. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties at all levels for accuracy and completeness of information, as well as to ensure engaging content 
  • Lead, manage and coordinate the annual production of the company annual report from procurement to delivery. 
  • Serve as reference point for important company information.
  • Emcee (including script development) any internal or external events as and when required. 
  • Execute any other projects as directed by management or superior.

  • Possessing a  holistic view of all company initiatives at HQ and airport level for the purpose of accurate, timely and engaging communications
  • Breaking down cross functional barriers within the organisation to achieve desired outcomes

  • Update senior management on activities by Corporate Communications.
  • Project Owners (all levels)
  • Offer advice in developing content for internal communications
  • Creative, PR and event management agencies, publishers, vendors, airport stakeholders
  • Liaise on any matters related to job requirements

Skills

  • High degree of strategic thinking 
  • Highly exerienced in crafting written content in Bahasa Malaysia and English to ensure that the right message is delivered  
  • Ability to connect current affairs, business strategies or company initiatives into  coherent and relevant communication materials. 
  • Highly fluently (verbal and written) in Bahasa Malaysia and English 
  • Experienced in the production of company annual reports
  • Good time management skills
  • Good working knowledge of current affairs
  • Highly motivated with strong drive for excellence.
  • Highly collaborative in a high pressure environment

Relevant Industries

External

  • Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 5 years relevant experience.

Education

External

  • Degree holder in any discipline with priority given to  Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Management, Business or any related fields
