POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
- Ensuring purchase order are raised accordingly
- Ensuring report are generated by the deadlines
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
PRODUCT / SUPPLIER INTRODUCTION
- To source; negotiate and liaise with local and international suppliers for saleable items and
- trading terms to achieve monthly targeted sales with satisfactory margins.
PRODUCT ORDERING
- To ensure stocks availability by close monitoring of purchasing activities i.e. issuing
- purchase order on timely basis for repeat items and newness.
PRODUCT MERCHANDISING
- Plan; develop; coordinate product display and retail space for current and future outlets in
- line with guidelines set by principals/suppliers to achieve effective product display and space management; and to enhance overall attractiveness of retail outlets. To ensure all document and data such as cost; selling price; terms; code and other information related to merchandise purchase process and planning are to be updated.
PROMOTIONS
- Plan promotions and execute plans in consultation with principals / suppliers to ensure
- smooth flow of processes so that all promotions proceed with minimum interruptions
- and problems and achieve the expected sales volume.
COMMUNICATION
- To liaise between principals/suppliers and the Company’s management to ensure effective
- communication between these parties.
MARKET RESEARCH
- Conduct market study by checking competitor’s pricing and merchandise and gather
- information on market trends to ensure that the company is updated with latest market
- trends and customer’s need.
STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE
- To ensure that all activities related to purchasing activity are align with the SOP and ISO requirement.
DOCUMENTATION AND DATA
- To ensure all document and data such as cost; selling price; terms; code and other information
- related to merchandise purchase process and planning are to be updated.
