Today Rotterdam The Hague Airport signed a collaboration agreement with a European consortium led by EDL Anlagenbau Gesellschaft mbH, allowing the consortium to study the production of sustainable kerosene obtained of CO2, water and electricity. The parties to the agreement hope that the study will help them become the first to be able to offer sustainable kerosene obtained from the air to the aviation industry. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol supports the project, which it considers a major step forward towards CO2-neutral aviation.
