The Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid has set an opening date. The hotel will open booking channels on October 8 for stays from March 15, 2021 onwards. It was originally slated to open this summer following more than two years of extensive renovations, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused the additional delay.

The hotel will offer customers a host of attractive services and architectural features, most notably the reinstatement of the hotel’s original glass dome, which was hidden for over 80 years and has been carefully restored. Other highlights include the hotel’s gastronomic offering, designed, developed and supervised by the chef Quique Dacosta, winner of five Michelin stars, as well as the new wellness and fitness area.

The hotel has 100 rooms split in three categories: Superior, Deluxe and Mandarin; as well as 53 suites. Tip: It will be possible to connect suites and rooms to host families and groups comfortably. Top options include the Royal Suite, situated in its original location, and the Presidential Suite, which have been completely renovated. There are two new suites with balconies: The Mandarin Suite and Ritz Suite, located in the turrets in the front façade of the building.
