China Airlines thought of a unique way to charm passengers on the new route Kaohsiung, Taiwan and Kumamoto, Japan: a fun new livery! The “kuma” in Kumamoto means “bear” in Japanese, so China Airlines gathered three of Taiwan and Japan’s popular cartoon bears, and featured them on a special livery which is regularly assigned to the route.
