Description, duties, responsibilities
- Log consolidate and categorize incoming pilot aircraft appearance discrepancy reports
- Maintain photographic database of aircraft appearance for easy access and reporting by/to constituents
- Coordinate with Maintenance Planners to slot appearance maintenance work with regular aircraft maintenance cycle
- Supervise appearance vendor relationships

- Role: Leather maintenance vendor – $20k monthly spend allocated
- Manage effort to bring consistency to current leather appearance (target = Level I) across fleet and maintain fleet at Level I via newly implemented quarterly maintenance program
- Manage Procure-to-Pay process and invoice coding
- Global Appearance Partners
- Role: Detailing (basic and deep cleaning) vendor
- Manage detailing to maintain internal appearance minimize expense without impacting customer experience aircraft availability
- Improve customer bill-back process
- Technicair (GSO) Duncan Aviation (LNK) Constant Aviation (CLE)
- Role: Primary maintenance vendor for appearance-related work
- Create watch list and discrepancy items in CAMP based on pilot reported emails
- Work with MX Control to action any open interior items
- Review proposals and quotes from vendor and obtain spend approval as needed
- Schedule work based on scheduled MX events
- Create work order items from vendor quotes
- Tactical Responsibilities include
- Tracking elective maintenance budget vs actual work completed
- Annual budget review and ongoing analysis
- The Leather Institute
- Sending reports to maintenance and flight operations teams to provide improved understanding of fleet reliability trends and actionable data to improve fleet dispatch rate
- Sending reports to finance team with data to support AOG insurance and other risk-reducing insurance products
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Aviation Management or 3 years in Operations preferred
- Previous procurement and/or experience in refurbishment activities is required
- Excellent customer service vendor relations and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office Suite especially Excel
- Ability to work independently without immediate supervision
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and strong follow through
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- A self-starter
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Ability to customarily exercise discretion and use independent judgment for matters of significance
