Job Description


  • Monitor and coordinate with all respective staff, units or stakeholders pertaining to airport operations’ activities.



  • Monitor and upkeep the record and data of event, activities, incident and action taken on a daily basis. Controllers are also to ensure to maintain and keep a proper log record when performing their duty.
  • To assist Duty Manager/Duty Exec to put up the backup/fall back procedures in ensuring the airport and activities are not interrupted within 15 minutes when any minor or major crisis occur.
  • To monitor, update and maintain daily the status record of facilities reported unserviceable via SAP number, Incident Report number or Notam raise by AOCC, FOC, Airside, Landside, Terminal, Engineering, AVSEC, AFRS and other respective units or stakeholders which required for day to day operations.
  • To perform quality service monitoring survey and other adhoc survey monitoring as required by Management.
  • To update daily and compile periodically (week/month) on any surveys record data as required by Management.
  • To monitor and assist the controllers in carrying out their duties effectively during any emergencies, abnormal occurrence or ad-hoc events
  • To ensure that the AOCC facilities are serviceable and stationary availability.
  • To assist the AODM/AODE to finalize and update the roster and to recall staff if the need arise

Key Challenges


  • Assisting AODM in handling and managing day to day operation and emergencies/crisis.

Working Relationship

  • Air Traffic Controller Officer
  • Department Of Civil Aviation (DCA)
  • To get update on Civil Aviation requirements and procedures and other related Aerodrome information and regulations
  • To coordinate on all operations aspect in day to day operations
  • Government Agencies
  • (Immigration, Customs, PDRM, Health, etc)
  • To coordinate on day to day operations matter from government agencies to ensure airport operations run effectively as they are part of airport stakeholder.
  • Support Services staff (Various level of position)
  • Support Service division  (Human Resource, Commercial, Public Relations, etc)
  • To deal administration and support service matter as and when necessary.

  • Working knowledge of aviation industry, airport operations /development, aviation regulations, certifications (Environment, Safety & Quality), air traffic control, airport operations, airport technical, safety and security.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision, able to work under pressure, have good team work, good in customer service, computer literate, good in report writing.


Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Transports, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Airport Planning and / or Air Traffic Control
