Air traffic at the airport location of Berlin continues to grow. Just today, the 35 millionth passenger was welcomed to Berlin, ringing in a new passenger record. The capital region’s appeal remains untouched, with Berlin included in the top 3 travel destinations in Europe. This means increased passenger numbers to and from Berlin.

Sebastian Jurth is the lucky anniversary passenger. Today, he flew to Moscow from Berlin-Schönefeld, taking the Aeroflot flight SU 2569. In celebration of the anniversary, he received an upgrade to business class, an Aeroflot model airplane as well as a voucher for Heinemann duty-free.
